Since back in 1771 the first crystal factory in Ireland was founded in Dungannon, County Tyrone. The distinctive properties of Tyrone Crystal are derived from a closely guarded secret formula for molten metal, well in excess of 30% lead oxide, (this give crystal it clarity, sparkle and brilliance).
